The Center for Dairy Excellence is a non-profit 501C6 organization created in 2004. The organization was created to enhance the profitability and viability of the dairy industry, the leading sector of Pennsylvania’s number one industry, agriculture. Our mission is to empower the people, create the partnerships and coordinate the resources to grow the profitability of Pennsylvania’s dairy industry. We provide needed resources and programs to strengthen individual dairy farm family businesses and promote positive outreach to the dairy industry, consumers, the media and policy makers on the value the dairy industry brings to Pennsylvania and the resources needed for ongoing viability.

The Pennsylvania Dairymen’s Association, originally formed as the Crawford County Dairy Association in 1871, is as a 501c-6 non-profit organization.  It supports programs for development of next generation dairy farmers through youth, and young adult training experiences and career education.  Its mission is to enhance and support the Pennsylvania dairy foods industry.

Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture is committed to a sustainable and safe supply of food and agricultural products in the commonwealth – from the farm to the table – and to being good stewards of the land and Pennsylvania’s natural resources. The department promotes the viability of farms, protects consumers, and safeguards the health of people, plants, animals and the environment.

American Dairy Association North East (ADA North East) is the dairy farmer-directed organization funded by participating dairy farmer’s checkoff investment to build demand and sales for milk and dairy foods throughout the local region.  Representing nearly 12,000 dairy farm families in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, New York, New Jersey and northern Virginia, ADA North East develops and implements local programs to drive milk and dairy sales at retail outlets and in schools. The organization also conducts consumer education about dairy through events, traditional and social media, and in collaboration with health professionals through National Dairy Council®. ADA North East works closely with Dairy Management Inc.™, the national dairy checkoff organization, to support nutrition research, national partnerships and developing export markets for dairy to bring a fully integrated promotion program to the region.
